Service Description
Get the most out of your dancing experience with private instruction from a professional ballroom dance instructor. Private sessions allow you to learn at your speed with individualized attention. One-on-one instruction offers the best value for your investment. Through experiencing the physical sensation of connected movement, the student is able to confidently replicate that movement in order to provide a pleasant and comfortable experience to other partners. Both beginning and advanced students will find they progress faster and easier, as they enjoy the sensation of partner dancing.
Cancellation Policy
For cancellations, please call us at least 24 hours before your scheduled lesson to avoid being charged. In booking our services, you are agreeing to the following: SMOOTH SAILING BALLROOM MEDIA RELEASE, INJURY, AND LIABILITY WAIVER Commonwealth of Virginia ASSUMPTION OF RISK. I understand that participation in ballroom dancing, social dancing, private lessons, group classes, workshops, performances, and related physical activities involves inherent risks, including bodily injury, illness, permanent disability, or death. I voluntarily and knowingly assume all such risks. VIRGINIA RELEASE OF LIABILITY. To the fullest extent permitted under Virginia law, I hereby release, waive, and forever discharge Smooth Sailing Ballroom, its owners, instructors, employees, independent contractors, volunteers, agents, venue partners, and affiliates (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims arising out of or related to my participation, including claims based on the ordinary negligence of the Released Parties. PERSONAL PROPERTY. Smooth Sailing Ballroom is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of personal property. MEDICAL REPRESENTATION. I represent that I am physically able to participate and have consulted a physician if necessary. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA RELEASE. I grant Smooth Sailing Ballroom the irrevocable right to use photographs, video, and recordings of my participation for promotional, instructional, or archival purposes, worldwide and in perpetuity, without compensation. GOVERNING LAW. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any legal action shall be brought exclusively in Virginia courts. SEVERABILITY. If any provision of this agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. ACKNOWLEDGMENT. I have read and fully understand this agreement and agree to be bound by its terms.
